  • Doussie, scientific name: Afzelia xylocarpa, is slow growing and a phototrophic tree. Doussies grows in evergreen forest or deciduous forest, on flat land or water-draining slopes, and in deep soil horizon.

    The tree has large, round and straight trunk, 30 - 40m high with white grey bark.
