  • Vietnam Mahogany grows mainly in Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, An Giang, Kien Giang.

    The tree grows from a single, large and straight trunk, with a round canopy and grey or rust brown bark that is coarsely fissured. Mahogany wood is very hard, pink-red in color, even-grained and easy to split when dries.
